- 1 box brownie mix , + ingredients on back of box
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 pound powdered sugar
- 1 tablespoon water or milk
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- food coloring of choice
Instructions
- Prepare brownie mix according to the package instructions.
- Place a silicone egg mold on a baking sheet and fill each cup with brownie mix until they are ¾ full.
- Bake the brownies in a preheated oven at 350 degrees F for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Once out of the oven, use a teaspoon to create an indent in the center where the egg yolk would be.
- Allow the brownies to cool completely in the mold before gently removing them.
- While the brownies cool, prepare the frosting by mixing softened butter, powdered sugar, and 1 tablespoon of water or milk in a mixer at medium-high speed for 3 minutes.
- Incorporate the vanilla extract and mix until fluffy.
- Divide the frosting into bowls according to the number of colors desired.
- Add food coloring to each bowl and mix thoroughly.
- Use a frosting bag to fill each brownie bite with the colored frosting.
Notes
Ensure the brownies are completely cool before adding the frosting to avoid melting.
