Description

Baked Rolled Tacos offer a burst of irresistible flavors in every bite. Made with savory chicken, seasoned taco meat, and gooey cheese, this quick and easy dish is perfect for a satisfying dinner that brings comfort to your table. Ideal for anyone craving a fun, homemade meal!


Ingredients

  • 2 cups taco meat cooked
  • 2 cups chicken breast cooked & shredded
  • ½ cup red and/or green salsa
  • 1 cup mexican blend cheese shredded
  • 1-2 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 6 flour tortillas or corn tortillas
  • ¼ cup sour cream
  • 1 cup lettuce chopped or shredded
  • ½ cup tomato
  • 1 avocado sliced or chopped


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 450 degrees F and lightly coat a baking dish with nonstick spray.
  2. In separate bowls, mix the taco meat and chicken with 3-4 tablespoons of salsa.
  3. Place a spoonful of the mixture and a sprinkle of cheese near one end of each tortilla and roll tightly.
  4. Lay each rolled tortilla seam side down in the baking dish.
  5. Lightly brush vegetable oil over the top of each roll.
  6. Bake for 8-10 minutes until golden brown.
  7. If needed, place on a paper towel-lined plate to drain any excess oil.
  8. Serve with desired toppings and enjoy!

Notes

Feel free to use your favorite salsa for added flavor.
You can customize toppings such as jalapeños or olives for a spicy kick.
