Description

Ingredients

  • ½ cup onion, diced
  • 1 (1 ounce) taco seasoning packet
  • 1 (10 ounce) canned tomatoes with green chiles
  • 1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
  • ¾ cup beef broth
  • 1 cup shredded colby jack cheese


Instructions

  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain excess grease.
  2. Add the diced onion and sauté for 2-3 minutes until softened.
  3. Mix in the taco seasoning, then stir in the beef broth, tomato sauce, and canned tomatoes.
  4. Incorporate the refrigerated tortellini into the sauce, ensuring it's well mixed.
  5. Cover the skillet and cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  6. Sprinkle shredded cheese over the tortellini and cover again.
  7. Cook until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
