Description

These Garlic Herb Steak Bites feature juicy sirloin marinated with fresh garlic and herbs, resulting in an easy, mouthwatering meal perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 ½ pounds sirloin steak, trimmed of excess fat and cut into 1 ½-inch chunks
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 3-4 garlic cloves, thinly sliced
  • 3 sprigs fresh thyme
  • ½ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • chopped fresh italian flat-leaf parsley
  • flaky sea salt

Instructions

  1. Season the sirloin chunks with kosher salt and refrigerate uncovered for at least 30 minutes, or overnight for more flavor.
  2. Drizzle olive oil over the steak and heat a cast-iron skillet on medium-high heat until very hot. Cook the steak bites in batches for 4-5 minutes until browned on all sides, ensuring not to crowd the pan.
  3. Create space in the skillet and add butter, garlic, and thyme. Allow the butter to melt and mix it with the steak bites by tossing them in the garlic butter.
  4. Serve the steak bites on a plate, drizzling with any remaining butter and topped with parsley and flaky sea salt.

Notes

For best flavor, marinate the steak overnight.
Avoid crowding the pan to ensure even cooking of the steak bites.
