Description

Pimento Cheese combines sharp cheddar and cream cheese for a creamy, savory spread. Ideal for quick snacks or parties, this simple recipe is a crowd-pleaser!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 4 oz. cream cheese
  • ¼ cup mayonnaise (duke’s brand is my favorite)
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon paprika
  • ¾ teaspoon celery salt
  • 3 tablespoons chopped pimentos
  • 1 tablespoon pimento juice/brine

Instructions

  1. Shred the cheese and set aside.
  2. In a bowl, mix 4 oz. cream cheese with ¼ cup mayonnaise until smooth using a hand mixer or a vigorous stir.
  3. Add in ½ teaspoon onion powder, ½ teaspoon garlic powder, ¼ teaspoon paprika, and ¾ teaspoon celery salt. Mix well.
  4. Incorporate 3 tablespoons chopped pimentos and 1 tablespoon pimento juice or brine. Mix until combined. If it feels too wet, refrigerate to firm up before serving.
  5. Fold in the shredded sharp cheddar cheese until just combined.
  6. Serve immediately or chill before serving.

Notes

For a thicker consistency, refrigerate before serving.
Use Duke’s mayonnaise for the best flavor.
Great for sandwiches or as a dip with crackers.
