Description

This Easy Chicken Cordon Bleu Casserole combines tender chicken, savory ham, and creamy Swiss cheese for a delightful comfort food that’s easy to prepare and perfect for any night of the week.


Ingredients

  • 3 cups cooked shredded chicken
  • 1 can (10 oz) condensed cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup half and half
  • 3/4 cup sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • 8 ounces ham (slices or diced)
  • 6 slices swiss cheese
  • 2 cups crushed ritz crackers
  • 4 tablespoons butter (melted)


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and lightly spray a 9×13 casserole dish with nonstick cooking spray.
  2. In a large bowl, mix shredded chicken, cream of chicken soup, half and half, sour cream, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika until combined.
  3. Spread the mixture evenly in the casserole dish.
  4. Add the ham on top of the chicken mixture followed by layering the Swiss cheese slices over the ham.
  5. Combine crushed Ritz crackers and melted butter in a small bowl until resembling wet sand, then spread over the cheese.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown and bubbly.
  7. Let the casserole sit for 5-10 minutes before serving.

Notes

You can use rotisserie chicken for a quicker prep time.
Feel free to substitute ham with turkey for a lighter version.
Add vegetables like broccoli for extra nutrition.
