Description

This Chili Cheese Dip delivers rich and creamy flavors that everyone loves. It’s made with Velveeta cheese and chili, making it a quick and tasty option for parties or movie nights. Serve it warm with tortilla chips for an irresistible snack!


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound velveeta cheese
  • 2 cups of chili or 15 ounce can of chili – no beans
  • ½ cup picante sauce
  • sliced green onions optional garnish
  • tortilla chips or fritos for serving


Instructions

  1. Cut Velveeta into 1 inch chunks.
  2. Add Velveeta, chili, and picante sauce to a heavy bottom pan. Cook over medium heat, stirring frequently until cheese is melted and dip starts to bubble.
  3. Remove from heat.
  4. Garnish with green onions if desired and serve with chips.

Notes

For a spicier dip, use spicy picante sauce.
Feel free to add cooked ground beef for additional flavor and heartiness.
This dip is best served warm and can be easily reheated.
