Description

This Breakfast Pizza features a delightful blend of flavors with eggs, savory sausage, and melted cheese. It’s an easy, homemade dish that brings comfort to any breakfast table.


Ingredients

  • 13.8 oz Pillsbury pizza crust
  • 8 whole large eggs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • Salt & Pepper to taste
  • 1 cup country gravy
  • 10 oz breakfast sausage
  • 2 cups shredded cheese, cheddar, mozzarella, monterey jack
  • 1 tablespoon cornmeal for dusting


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425º F. Grease a large sheet pan and sprinkle with cornmeal. Set aside.
  2. In a skillet over medium-high heat, cook the sausage for 6-7 minutes until fully cooked. Transfer to a paper towel-lined plate to absorb excess grease.
  3. Open the pizza dough tube and spread it onto the prepared pan, forming a 14×10-inch rectangle. Poke holes in the crust with a fork. Bake for 7 minutes until lightly golden brown.
  4. In a large bowl, beat the eggs with milk and season with salt and pepper. Cook over medium heat, stirring often, until lightly scrambled, then remove from heat.
  5. Spread country gravy over the baked crust, then top with sausage, scrambled eggs, and cheese.
  6. Bake for another 8-9 minutes until the crust is golden and the cheese has melted. Remove from the oven and slice to serve.

Notes

Feel free to add vegetables like bell peppers or spinach for extra flavor and nutrition.
You can use any combination of cheese that you prefer for a different taste.
This dish is best enjoyed fresh but can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
