- 2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 3/4 cup bbq sauce
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 (12.5 ounce) canned chicken
- 1 (16 ounce) jar frank's sweet & smoky bbq kraut drained and roughly chopped
- 3 large green onions sliced, divided
- 1 bell pepper diced
- 1 (8 ounce) package of shredded cheddar cheese, divided
- 1 (8 ounce) package of shredded mozzarella cheese, divided
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425 degrees F and spray a shallow 2 quart baking dish with non-stick spray.
- In a mixer, combine cream cheese, sour cream, garlic, brown sugar, cayenne pepper, and paprika until smooth.
- Fold in BBQ Kraut, canned chicken, bell pepper, and sliced green onions until well mixed.
- Stir in half of the shredded cheddar and mozzarella cheese.
- Spread the mixture into the prepared baking dish, topping it with remaining green onion tops and a drizzle of BBQ sauce.
- Bake uncovered for 25 minutes or until the top is light golden brown and cheese is bubbly.
- Serve warm with tortilla chips.
