Description

Air Fryer Salmon Bites offer a tasty and quick meal option that combines the irresistible flavors of spices and tender salmon. Ideal for anyone craving a homemade dish that’s simple to make and packed with flavor!


Ingredients

  • 2 ½ tablespoons light brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¾ teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon mustard powder
  • ¾ teaspoon ground cumin
  • ¾ teaspoon salt
  • – ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil, avocado oil, or grapeseed oil (for the basket)
  • 1 ½ lbs skinless salmon fillets cut into 1×2-inch pieces
  • lemon slices to serve


Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F for 2–3 minutes with the basket installed.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together brown sugar, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, mustard powder, cumin, salt, and cayenne until well combined.
  3. Add the salmon cubes, gently tossing them until fully coated with the spice mixture.
  4. Brush the air fryer basket with oil, then add half the salmon in a single layer, avoiding overcrowding.
  5. Air fry for 2–3 minutes until the salmon is golden, the rub is caramelized, and the internal temperature reaches 145°F. Set aside while cooking the second batch.
  6. Repeat the process with the remaining salmon.
  7. Serve hot with lemon slices.

Notes

Make sure not to overcrowd the air fryer basket for even cooking.
You can adjust the cayenne pepper according to your heat preference.
Fresh lemon slices enhance the flavor when served.
